I have just spent the last half-hour writing a post to explain a little change taking place on my blog.
And. it. just. got. DELETED.
Sigh.
Which, upon reflection, is probably for the better. It was confusing and rambling.
At one point I even referenced the cartoon villain, Fartor.
So instead of all that, I’ll just tell you what’s up.
Bob and Abby are not the real names of my loved ones. But those names are causing me some problems that I won’t get into.
As a matter of privacy and security, I’d rather not have the real name of my seven year old floating about on the internet for the world (and any internet pervs) to see.
My husband would not like his real name out there for the same reason. Because internet pervs often target 30-something year old men.
But “Abby” and “Bob” are not working for me so, now while this site is still fairly young, I am opting to change them.
Therefore Bob will now be known as Mr. Frantic.
Why?
Because he always has a lot going on.
Sometimes more than he can comfortably handle, but he always gets it done.
Like yesterday, when he completed our taxes:
Eat your hearts out, internet stalkers!
And “Abby”? She will now be referred to as Girl-Wonder.
Because she’s wonderful.
Because I often wonder what I am going to do with her.
And I wonder if what I am doing is working.
And I wonder how I ever deserved such an incredible gift.
Actually, two incredible gifts, because Mr. Frantic? He’s pretty wonderful too.
