The very last day of my home and garden show, I promise

Are you all as sick of reading about my house as I am of writing about it?
I’d much rather spend my time reading about how daring you are.
You all are fabulous! If you haven’t taken the time to read the comments on my giveaway, I’d suggest you scoot on over there and do so. While you’re there, enter to win yourself!

Oh, you’re still here? Well, I guess I’ll go ahead and show you my bathrooms. I might even have a WFMW tip to share.
So this is where the magic really happens.
For it is in here that I go from looking like this:

To this:

My master bath.

There’s not really much to show. It’s pretty small, but adequate for our needs.
If you’re the kind of person who likes to look in your friend’s medicine cabinet, this shot’s for you:

Mr. Frantic put up that cabinet and plans to add another shelf to it. When he has time. Which means never.
I’ll also paint the bathroom when I have time (never), but for now, the white is working fine.
There is a toilet and a shower in this room too, but they are pretty basic. They look a lot like yours. Unless yours are really spectacular…
Here is The Girl Wonder’s bath:
home
Notice my little Earth Day project. I tricked the Girl Wonder with it this morning. She was a bit confused, but when she got the joke she cracked up.
I hate the towel bar. It’s in an awkward spot and frankly, it’s ugly. I’ll be pulling it down, you know, when I have time.
That brings me to my Works for Me Wednesday tip:
If you want your children (or husband) to hang up their towels, try hooks instead of bars. The towels are easier to hang and they dry better, too.
home
There’s not much wall space in this room, but these slim hooks fit nicely behind the door.

And that’s my home, mostly. There is another bedroom, but Mr. Frantic is using it as a home office and would rather I not post it all over the internet. In case he has files sitting out. Client confidentiality or some other hooey like that. Whatever…

Applause! Applause! Loved the show! In less than a month you’ve created a charming nest for your family. Give yourself a pat on the back.

I loved the tour, the before and after pictures, and the hooks! We’ve been talking about hanging some hooks in the kid’s bathroom for over a month and haven’t gotten to it yet. Does it really cause people to hang their towels up? That’s my hope…
